Question about a Super MD

I have a friend that would like to know if the Super MD uses the same block as the gas Super M. Also what is the largest possible bore that you could go to with this block. He is getting this tractor ready to pull and would like to make as much power as possible in the antique class. Any and all suggestions are appreciated. Thank you in advance.
