Farmboy, Without the implements and not running, minimum $500 up to near $1000, depending on overall condition. Not knowing what implements you might get, it's hard to say the total value, but I would add at least $200 or better per implement if they're complete and in decent shape. Obviously a planter is worth more than a 1-bottom plow, but you could figure out the value better if you knew exactly which implements that would come with the tractor. I'm not an authority on these but I've bought three 140's and one Super A and I've noticed that different areas of the country also bring different price ranges too. If you're pretty confident that the engine will be a "runner" and there's no visible cracks anywhere, you can take that into consideration too. I'd also check the oil and coolant and it wouldn't hurt to see if it rolls and the tranny shifts too. Hugh knows quite a bit about these and he could maybe give you a better idea too about the worth. The more opinions you get, the better, but the bottom line is what its worth to you and what the seller wants for it. Hopefully those two figures aren't too far apart and you'll soon have the red machine in your shop.

All these conditions can be signals that your unit is in need of a tune up. Ok, so what is involved in a tune up? You say, swap plugs and file the points....now tha
