on the O12,w12 and fairway , the front end parts could be different. spindles too could be different. the o12 could have the little donut wheels , and later have round spokes. the w12 came on steel. the rears on an o12 will be very heavy cast. on the o12, it will have a hand clutch. brake pedal for left and right. fairway will have one brake on right side that will work both sides, and a foot clutch on the left. the w12 has hand brakes like an f12, with foot pedal clutch. the rear hubs on a fairway will be big cast with the brake bands inside. the o12 will work like an f12. inside the round tin cover will be the shoes, but worked by using your foot. depending on year, the clutch will be a little different too. early 12s had an 8 inch pressure plate. in 36 they changed to a 9 inch plate. throw out bearing assembly is slightly different too. the govenor is lower on a w12. fairway and o12 run higher rpms. hope this helps, pg
