Rick, My understanding is that all Super MTA's were built in 1954. I think that stage I and stage II refer to development stages of the Super M. The Super MTA is sometimes refered to as the stage III development of the Super M, but I'm not sure if that is 100% accurate. This is a link to an article by Guy Fay, the guru of these tractors history and author of many fine books on the subject. It may help you with what you are looking for.
