Allen, my 1940 H with the belly mower developed a drip the other day, actually it was more like a stream of hydraulic oil. My first thought was, gee whiz, here we go, but I got very lucky. The leak was coming from where the pipes thread into the pump way up in there. I screwed all 3 of the pipes out, cleaned the threads, wrapped with teflon tape and put them back in. I have mowed with the tractor twice since then and not a drop of oil has been lost.
