Hi, check the adjustment on the Stop/Run lever. All the way to the top is in the Run position and the lever on the side of the injection pump should be fully forward against the adjustment screw. Half way between Stop and Run is the cold start position and behaves like a choke on a gas engine. Does it run good under heavy load ? The fuel tanks on these tractor like to collect dirt in the bottom and then restrict fuel flow to the injector pump. Usually sympton is dying down under load and rough idle. ie RPM jumping up and down. Good luck JB
