Spent the evening checking some things out,oil levels and such.Engine was good to go except for the crank pulley, tightened the nut and thats fixed.Changed the plugs and now have it running like a top.Put 5 gallons of fresh clean gas in it only to find out my tank is shotIt holds about three until it starts leaking out the dozen or so pin holes in the front.I knew it was rusty inside but didnt know about the hole,so if anyone has a good tank, let me know!I think someone used snot for gearoil, just plain nasty.Drained it,took all day to drain good, poured in some kerosene and let it soak for a couple of hours and have it dripping over night.I over filled it with the kerosene and no leaks whatsoever,so i guess thats one good thing anyways.I just cant get over how quiet the engine and tranny are.I have to replace the manifold at some point in time, has the kerosene manifold, but the top has been welded and braised and poatched all kind of ways.More tomorrow!
