As a side note, I don't have any other 6v stuff hooked to this tractor. No lights, or generator or anything. I'll get one of those Universal resistors ltc mentioned. I think the resistors I got at Radio Shack (one half of a volt) must be for little hobby radio circuits or something, not automotive applications. I'll go from here. As I said, it's charging like a champ..the only catch is it doesn't shut off. My next trick is to add some lights. thanks Gee
