Just my $0.02 worth. I work in an IT department and to me the "remember password" is one of the dumbest thing that Microsoft came up with. There are a lot of "the dumbest" to choose from. At first glance it seems like a good thing. One less thing to enter when I go to an app. The problem comes up in a couple of years when you either have to re-build your computer or you get a new one. By this time you no longer remember what that password is that is automatically entered for you. In fact you will probably not even remember that you are entering a password. In a corporate environment we have different userids and passwords for just about every apllication that we run and then Windows bypasses all of this security saying "Hey, let me remember if for you". Like I said. Just my $0.02 worth.
