I never had a gas 560 but HAD a LP Gas and STILL HAVE a Diesel. The Diesel will do most work like pumping water (8 inch crissifulli pump) on 3-5 quarts "yes quarts" per hour. The 560 LP would pump the same amount of water on 2.5 gallons of LP Gas and in the field would butn 6 gallons and not pull the hat off your head. I remember a neighbor who had a 806 LP Gas and used it to ditch with 50 to 100 hours per year and was renting the LP Tank from the gas man.Well he did not use the 806 enough for the gas man to leave the tank for him to rent (he could get more rent somewhere else) He said when the 806 is low I will come out and fill it for the cost of the rented tank price of 2 cents per gallon and the cost of the LP. Good deal well his 1066 went down and he used the 806 to pull his landplane and the gas man was out there 2 times a day for a week. Needless to say he brought the tank back and never offered that deal again. Not the subject of 560 gassers but interesting experiences with LP Gassers
