Hey Bob. I usually pull the choke as it dies to differenciate between the carb and ignition. The coil has pos and neg terminals. The factory setup is positive gnd, so power to the coil goes in the neg terminal, pos terminal to the points. When the elec system is converted to negative gnd, you usually swap the polarity on the coil as well. And thanks for the invite, email me directions and I'll see if I can get over to see them or help. Also tell Curt that they are doing a Fall show in Bealeton (Oct 9-10). I was really looking fwd to it till I realized it's the same weekend as a wedding I need to be at, so don't know how much support I can lend them this time. Stan(VA).
