Detergent Oil

And here is a FAQ that was authored by an antique tractor guy. It seems the biggest problem with detergent oils is if the engines get real hot, or if you try to use motor oil for hydraulic oil. (Unless you have a real gunky engine). BTW I also found reference to one company that designed their hydraulics system around 10w motor oil. The differences between oil may not always be that much it seems.
