I believe those old B-414 tractors were pretty much junk anyway. I'd let that old clunker go and buy myself a couple of M's for the same money as he's asking. The problems you descibe would cost big bucks to fix and I believe the guy is lying to you if he claims the engine was rebuilt just two years ago if you need a can of either to start it (unless it wouldn't start for him some cold winter day, and he used too much either and shattered the rings in it or what he's calling a rebuild didn't include new rings) Motor jobs are expensive, and so is new rear tires at about $300US each for a tire that size, plus that PTO seal will need replacing, especially if the pto now spins all the time and if you have to hire it done, then thats going to be bucks. By the time you got done you will have enough invested in it to have bought yourself a better newer tractor. What makes it worth anything is the loader, but you need a decent tractor to run the loader with. Hope this helps,
