have a "63 with a 263, wide front, int. 2000 loader, three pt quikhitch and a cab. would not trade it for anything! i put up about 3000 small squares of grass this year and did all the cutting, raking and baling with it. i can pull a 4-16 plow, 12" digger and i can move a hell of alot of snow and manure with it. as far as gas consumption is concerned it took some time but when i"m doing everyday work including baling i run the mixture screw 2 turns lean and when i need power i turn it back out. when it"s lean i can run 2-3 days on a tank cutting and baling. when its at spec or rich i can"t make it past noon one 1 day. i have several other tractors but the 706 is my favorite. have fun and enjoy!
