Hell, if I were a farmer in Iraq, Afghanistan, the Middle East or overseas, I would be damn proud of W. However, I have to make a living here and I tell you the state of the American farmer ain't something to crow about. My only wish is that someone would pay attention to the big picture. 20 years down the road, America might be safer, but the bill collectors want payment in the here and now....What good is "being safe" if the economy forces you to sell your farm/livelihood at auction? The economy comes first. I am glad that Iraqis are better off thanks to the American taxpayer, but who is looking out for us? God Bless America!
