Crocodile tears! The war against Iraq was planned from the beginning of the Bush administration and they falsely used the September 11 attacks to justify it. John Kerry may not be the best choice for a presidential candidate, but he is far superior to the other choice we have-a lying religious fanatic who has diverted attention from the real issue, Al Qaida. The Bush administration has done everything to create the APPEARANCE of security without actually doing anything about creating lasting security. GWB has done everyting he could possibly do to make the US hated and distrusted abroad. I know many Conservatives dismiss this as inconsequential because they are Uber-patriots (nobody else on Earth of value but us Americans), but we live in a world that is complex and interconnected and that is no way to handle foreign policy (as if it were just an extension of West Texas)! Then there is his attack on the environment, letting Enron write administrative policy, tax cuts while expanding the budget in a recession, concentating on lifestyle issues while letting national policy lanquish, provoking war while having avoided participating in war, provoking war without a plan for the peace, being a lapdog of the Saud family, being a lapdog of Halliburton, unimaginative energy policy, vilification of our long term allies, his holier-than-thou attitude, etc. I find George W. Bush to be an embarassment.

We arrived hoping to meet up with a man we knew had over one
