I sprayed the set screw and nut with PB blaster for a few days. I was able to get the nut off but not the set screw out, I was afraid of breaking the set screw. Next I found the same size nut and put 2 nuts on the set screw. I backed the first nut into the second nut with a wrench, had someone also at the same time use a ratchet with a screw driver bit in the slot turning the set screw too and was able to get the screw out. Next I cut the fan belt off and sprayed down the set screw hole and both sides of the pulley flange with PB Blaster. I sprayed it a lot. I also would tap the flange (Unscrew direction) with a brass punch while holding the fan. I did this every day since Sunday and nothing moved at all until yesterday. It moved a little in the morning. I then sprayed it more and came back later and tapped it a little more. Once it moved I knew it would eventially move. Finally last night I was able to brake it free, now you could almost spin it with your fingers. I didn't put the belt on yet. I also at the same time am resealing the engine (The main job). I have the valve cover off, push rod cover off, oil filter housing off, mag off, pan off etc. I am cleanig out sludge. The fan belt is just a fill in job. The key is to spray it, tap a little with a brass punch, stop, let it sit ,then do it a few hours later. I think you asked once where I am in Ct, I am in Colchester.

Today's Featured Article - The Cletrac General GG and the BF Avery A - A Bit of History - by Mike Ballash. This article is a summary of what I have gathered up from various sources on the Gletrac General GG and the B. F. Avery model A tractors. I am quite sure that most of it is accurate. The General GG was made by the Cleveland Tractor Company (Cletrac) of Cleveland, Ohio. Originally the company was called the Cleveland Motor Plow Company which began in 1912, then the Cleveland Tractor Company (1917) and finally Cletrac. ... [Read Article]
