I agree. Comparing John Kerry to George Bush is akin to… well, er.... the same as comparing Mrs. Kerry to the First Lady. Quite a contrast, indeed. In the past few years, the media have always pushed "entertainment" more than actually reporting the news as it should and they have really had a field day with this one claiming what a "close" race this is and making it into a noisy, loud media “event”. Bunk. The Dems knew going in that they had to come up with a sacrificial lamb for this election and John has proven himself to be a very dispensable pawn in the larger scheme of political gamesmanship. Plus, he just cannot see the darned forest ‘cause all those silly trees are standing in the way. Perfect patsy. An "Oswald" type. The knowledgeable & political savvy Dems are not touching this election with a 10-foot pole and are quietly watching from the sidelines, as well they should. Can't help feelin' a bit sorry for young Edwards tho, he seems like a nice sort, but I think his eyes were a bit bigger than his tummy on this one. No, the sane folks of America just are not going to put this foaming-at-the-mouth Looney Tune into the white house and in charge our well-being, especially at this critical juncture in our history. Sorry John, this just ‘taint a gonna happen. Allan

We arrived hoping to meet up with a man we knew had over one
