I'm new to tractors (have a '47 H) and snowplows (single-action cylinder hooked up to my lift-all pump so just up and down - manual adjustment of angle of blade) but what I have learned from what little experience I've gathered with this rig (one winter, 10 plowable snows) is that it doesn't take much. Where on the East Coast are you located? Besides ads, here and E-bay; equipment dealers may be able to get you a frame and plow for a reasonable price if you tell them to look out for one now. Another route you may have already considered is beefing up the alternator (or converting to one) and running an electric pump as are set up on many trucks. As is common with my projects, once I get a solution I want to improve it. I'm thinking of getting a plow with hydraulic angle adjustment. Let us know what solution you arrive at.
