I was told that all 4wd 66 series were aftermarket, and I have yet to see a factory one, but it would make perfect sense that it was an option because after all there was a factory plate over the hole on the transmission for the transfer case to hook up. I worked for a farmer who had a 1466 with an aftermarket 4wd, and the front end was a piece of &*() on that, it took a large field to turn it around because it would not turn very sharp, I put a number of hours on it disking and didn't like it very much, I thought the tractor would actually be worth more with a 2wd front end and duels. I'm drawing a blank on who made that front end, but the later aftermarket kits mostly used on the 86 series were a whole lot better Elenco(sp) made a good one.
