I bought a IH 8' transport disk to pull behind my H. Pulls it nicely. Bought a 8"x3" bore hydraulic cylindar and hoses. Hooked it all up, pipe dope(no teflon tape), pre-filled the hoses and cylindar with hydraulic oil so there wouldn't be air to bleed out, and tried it. The Lift All doesn't lift it off the ground. Now I haven't checked the output pressure with a gauge because I want to make sure I have the hoses hooked up correctly on the tractor first. The tractor is a 1944 Farmall H. On the left side of the tractor are two output elbows. The front one I have hooked a hose to the pressure side of the hydraulic cylindar and the rear one I have capped with a pipe cap. On the right side of the tractor I another elbow to which I have attached the return hose. The reservoir fill cap with the bayonet level gauge has been left undisturbed save for checking the level of the hydraulic oil. My question is do I have everything hooked up right or are all three elbows pressure outlets for various implement arrangements with the return hose attached to a T on the fill outlet. Thanks for your help. John :)
