Tom, is this a tractor you have just started to mess with or did it just die on you ? The worst senario is that the pump may be seized up. Or it may have a little rust in it here and there. The pumping plungers may be stuck in there bores or the metering valve may be stuck in it's bore. These would all cause the pump not to work. These are all hard to check out unless you have messed with the pumps before. Don't be tempted to just tap on the side or the pump. this means that the metering valve has something causing it to stick and that means that there is contamination in the pump.
