My '48 M has a Heisler overdrive in it and I'm sure there were other conversions available for the M. One thing about all of them - I you use the lift-all hydraulics, don't use the overdrive! It over speeds the pump and your pump seals will fail. If you want to use the OD, disconnect the pump by pulling off the inspection plate on the bottom of the lift-all housing and remove the short shaft that drives the pump. If you want to go fast, don't use the lift-all! Enjoy your "M" One of the greatest tractors ever made. FB
