BG if your are talking about a SM the inner disc looks like it is about 1/2" thick but it has a hub on it that goes into the pinion housing. So if you take two screw drivers there should be two places between the disc and the pinion housing to get the screws started and them pry a little at a time with the screw drivers and it should slide out it has an oring on the hud.
