Hi MO Boy, Some of those hex drives fell into the oil pan too. One of our supervisor's had a hex shaft to shear off on a Ford Station wagon and he carried about 6 riders and it happened when he started the vehicle to go home. Sure created a mess. About 4 months later it started knocking again and we pulled the pan and looked at the crankshaft surface and couldn't find an oil passage hole in the crankshaft. It was hard to convince the service manager until he saw the problem himself. Ford installed a new short block and never had any more problems. Hal
