When they say they are going to part it out, that is a good time to inquire about the parts that you may be looking for. Unless you are in the used parts business, after a few "Popular" parts are gone, you end up with a pile of scrap iron. Sure many of the remaining parts may be good but unless they are properly stored, they may be ruined or lost. Also, supose you need a part that isn"t a major part, the seller may not want to remove it until something major is sold first. I am not going to want to wait around. Also, probably the tractor is a piece of junk to begin with. I have seen many pieces of equipment over the years that have gotten a "5 gallon overhaul". To me , when somebody says a completely restored tractor, I assume factory new. Of course, when I look it over, the only part of the restoration that is correct for a perfect restoration is the joke of a price. I pick it apart and then offer a really low price LOL. So if they want to part it out, be first to ask for a price on parts that you may need.
