Leon, I also have a hydro 70 gas. It is a very handy machine for PTO work. Not to good for just pulling. Pretty inefficient and will really suck down the fuel. The hydros are pretty expensive to fix if they are bad. I've heard 5000 bucks.At 2500 hrs. it should still be good. You should get the engine running and test the hydro by puting the tractor in high range and with the brakes on, move the lever forward. It should kill the engine running at half throttle. Without running it I wouldn't give over 1500. Should part for that.
