Hi UFO Man, sure sounds like a blocked fuel line. Tractor will run short of fuel the govenor in the injector pump will go full throttle and engine will surge and then die. I assume you opened the bleed screws on the injector pump and pumped the hand pump until there was only fuel coming out the bleed screws? Did you loosen 2 injector line nuts and crank the engine until fuel shot out around the nut? Many years ago we had both a B414 and 434 Diesel. The B414 would start by just bleeding the injector pump and the 434, you always had to loosen 2 injector line nuts at the pump. good luck JB2
