Now this discussion has me in a quandry. My dad's M was bought new in 1951 by my grandpa and has never ben out of the family. Nothing has ever been replaced on this tractor. All the castings are original but going by the numbers the engine is a 1949 the transmission is a 1950 and the steering pedestal was cast 8-16-51. Can anyone explain this?
