I had a problem with my H clutch release levers going out of adjustment and not releasing the clutch when I stepped on the pedal. I adjusted the levers so they had about 1/8" to 1/16" clearance (I forget what the spec is so check your manual), tightened the locking nuts down and the clutch has been fine ever since. It may be difficult to get all the fingers at just the right clearance but having the clearance even on them is important. For the H, I rotated the engine by locking in the belt pulley drive and turning the hub the pulley bolts on to.
