10/38 rear rim help

Hi Guys and Gals,
I have a brand new 10/38 double drop rim and the center that hooks between the two hold downs is an inch wider than all the rest of my rims so it will not fit .
Does anyone know what it may fit the center is about 4" wide and the H rims I have are about 3" wide at the center.
I cant for the life of me remember the name of those things its on the tip of my tounge You know the things that go on the bolt that hold the rim in place. Boy do I feel like a moron right now.
