I have removed the two nuts and springs from underneath the radiator. The radiator can rock from side to side now. I have not yet been able to remove/slide the lower radiator hose off the radiator. I will cut if need be but question the technique for eventual replacement. I have tried to lift up on the radiator but the fan hits the fan shroud which is/was bolted to the radiator. I have unbolted the fan shroud for more freedom of movement but am still not able to wiggle the radiator away from the engine.
Do I need to remove the massive front steering assembly in order to remove the radiator? Also, do I need to remove the radiator drain pipe?
