Stu- sorry to say it, but there is no good way to keep the center couplers. The steel lines coming forward under the platform for the left-side couplers get in the way of the 56/26/66 series linkage, while the 56/26/66 series right-hand steering/fuel tank support does not have the threaded holes for the couplers. My 706 has a loader, so I used those center couplers too. While I was rebuilding the 706 rear-end, I had the loader on the 826, which just has rear couplers, so I had to extend the loader hoses anyway. When I found out I needed to eliminate the center couplers on the 706, I just said "to heck with 'em, I've got enough hose now to get around to the rear couplers". To eliminate the center couplers, just get rid of everything you have now, come out of the control valves with 90 degree hose fittings, and run hydraulic hose to two sets of breakaway couplers in back. By the way, center couplers, coming out just under the platform, were an option on 56 series tractors, but are very, very rare. I don't think I've ever seen one like that, but those parts might be worth looking for.

Originally the company was called the Cleveland Motor Plow Company which began in 1912, then the Cleveland Tractor Company (1917) and finally Cletrac.
