Heres a tip. Get a spray bottle like windex would come in. Fill it partially with water, add 3 drops of Joy Lemon Fresh dishwashing detergent, top it off with water. Spray down the surface and apply the decal. Apparently, the Joy has glycerin in it. What this does is allows you time to move around your decal - that's right, you don't have to have it perfect right from the start! It also makes it easier to work out air bubbles if you should have them. This method doesn't give you all the time in the world, but it does give you some. When I decaled my truck about 17 years ago, this is the method used, as recommended by the decal manufacturer, and my decals are still on there just as good as the day we put them on. No lifting, no tearing. Good luck!
