Chad: 464 will handle 2x14 plow in any conditions. Under ideal conditions like sandy loams it would handle 3x14. From the goals you outlined, I would go with the 2 bottom plow. I've owned plows from single bottom to 5 bottom and everything in between. In my years I would give the edge to the 2 bottom plow on quality plowing. That is only a slight edge as all plows will do good work if properly adjusted. Remember tractor wheels should be adjusted aprox 20" to 26" from inside of rear tire to center line of tractor for a 2x14 plow. I have a 2x12 plow and my tractor wheel is 22" from center. With a mounted plow that range of dimesions quite important.
