I'd like to thank all of the people who have, over the years, taken the time to provide all of the generator and voltage regulator information. Although I have never posted a question here, all of the archived posts were extremely helpful in getting on with the diagnosis of a '48 model C. It was the only non-functioning system on a virtually original tractor that is currently suffering through a complete restoration. Unfortunately, the voltage regulator is toast, but the generator, resistor light switch, and amp meter only required minor repairs. Just waiting for a parts manual to see if this regulator was original or a replacement. Busted the generator pulley, though. I dropped it off a table, but my big toe broke it's fall and prevented any serious damage (ouch)! I would like to get the rear rims sanblasted and re-galvanized. Has anyone found a shop that has this capability? Thanks again, RI Red
