I agree with parts man that if you're unsure, drain it out and replace with Hy-Trans. I know whenever I get a tractor, the first thing I do is drop all the fluids out of it and replace them even if the sellers say they just did.

Also, I'd never recommend mixing transmission oil with motor oil...the two are designed to work in different ways.
