Reddog: If you fill with gas the gas will go stale, and leaving it empty allows rusting on inside of tank. If the 20 degrees in you shop remains quite consistant, I wouldn't get awfully concerned about how full tank. Condensation is the killer, and with constant temp, condensation will be minamul. I do this every winter with my Super A and 140, and I just shut them off as last used. I always take time to start and let them run for about an hour, once per month. I think far more serious than fuel tank, is non use of engine, starting and letting engine warm up and lubricate. Electrical system gets a workout as well. The tractor is not a whole lot different from you or a horse. All need to eat and exercise, tractor just doesn't need it daily. You can get stabilizers to keep gas from going stale. I will not voice an opinion on these other than I do know they will relieve you of some of your money.
