Not a big problem unless it runs dry. can be fixed for long term low cost fix drill a hole on both ends of crack to stop spread carefull not to go to far in case drain all oil first just small holes1/8 or smaller will do try to avoid getting as few shaving as possiable in case hint small holes and don't let bit go right in case then get weld rod made for cast work local weld gas supply best place just exsplain what you are using on they will set you up and weld crack and holes one or two passes will do
