Not sure if Case/New Holland still offers the part but IH made a "Tin Cap" as We called them with square notches in them and the "Tooth" in the lever was replacable. Notches were a little wider but it was very resistant to slipping. A little mill in the department I was a Production Scheduler of milled the slots on the "Tin Cap" Seems like that style was standard with the Super series of tractors.
