Deb: Super A were built between 1947 and 1954. Serial tag is on the left seat support. Some of those numbers can be a bit worn by now, but a little rubbing with a household clenser should highlight the numbers. The engine serial number as gene suggested, just under number 1 spark plug, stamped into a machined surface. All castings on your tractor have casting date codes, these are day and month by number and year by letter. On tractor these look like they have a round head screw cast between each day, month and year. On the letters X is 1952, Y is 1953, Z is 1954 and A is 1955. V was not used. You can go back or foreward from that. These codes will also tell you if castings have been replaced over the years.
