Spud, You didn't say what kind of wide front the tractor had. A good factory IH wide front with no welds will bring $700-800 at any of the tractor bone yards. Call them and ask prices if you don't believe me. They would probably give you half that much for the wide front, knowing they can easily sell it for twice. As far as the TA goes, if you wanted to get the tractor running, you can buy a heavy duty rebuilt TA unit for about $500-$550. Of course, then there would be labor involved. If you didn't do the work yourself, you could at least double the cost. As you can see, if you don't fix it yourself, then you would soon have more in the tractor than it would be worth, unless you get it really cheap.
