John, I'm glad to hear your boys home. I can only imagine the heartbreak that hits a parent as they watch their son or daughter either board a plane or leave port to go over seas. It is my hope and prayer that the sacrifices your son and so many like him are making will insure that my own son will not have to wave goodbye to his mother and I. My father was a veteran of the Korean conflict and raised us to beieve that this great country is worth defending. I even tried to enlist in the reserves in 03 at 35 years old with a wife and 2 kids , but bad knee and bad ankle kept me out. So John , tell your son that this father is thankful to him for being America's protecter and for taking my place and if what he and so many others like him are doing will keep my children out of harms way , then I owe him a debt that I will never be able to pay. Scott "Lord , by your almighty power , I pray you will keep our men and women overseas out of harms way and in your protective care until they safely return to their loved ones. AMEN!"
