We"ve got an 886. Last summer, my brother in law (his tractor) filled the hydraulic fluid with some stuff he had. We have since had a small leak AND when machine is cold it seems like nothing works well. My suspicion is the fluid he put in was too thick.
Even if I"m wrong, it"s probbaly not a bad idea to replace it, so exactly what type and how much hydraulic fluid should I use in an International 886? I ALREADY have several 5-gal buckets of AW-32 (if memory serves me) for my JCB backhoe...can I use that?
I will buy different if I need to, I just happen to like the idea if I"m able to use the same fluids in both machines.
