Hi Gene, I think that stripped gear is called the drive gear. Call 1-800-732-0017 and have them fax you a parts breakdown on that pump. Some metal may have flaked off the gear teeth and eventually caused the failure. Thoroughly clean that pump housing and check those pump gears for any flaking of metal or excessive wear. That hydraulic system may have metal particles circulated throughout and may have to be flushed. Tha Super C is a nice tractor and I liked the fasthitch. Hal
