Well well well. Looks like I finally spent some time with my 300. Just a update. This things been sitting in my shop since Feb 2002. Other stuff keeps coming up. Last winter it was the Tranny rebuild on my 400 that took its place. Maybe just maybe I can get this thing done this winter. Tinkering this summer I got the old pistons out and the sleeves. Put in a used set of sleeves and pistons. ( cost reasons from the 400 tranny money pit.) Got a new rear main oil seal in. Oil pan replaced with new gasket. Tonight I installed a new clutch w/ new pilot and throw out bearings. Got the eingine 1/2 reinstalled on the tractor. Then I will get the head back on. baby steps.
