I would suggest you check the local dealers in the surrounding towns. Unless you are familiar with older tractors and what their intended use was, you are probably better off with a more modern tractor made in the late 50's through the 60's or possibly the 70's. Many of this type of tractor can be had for, say, $3500-$7000 (and up). In terms of International, this could be (as mentioned below) utility tractors such as the 300/350 (probably less than $3500), 460, 444 and other later relatively small utility tractors. JD would be a 2020 and up. MF 35 or 65, etc. I'm not that familiar with AC or Ford numbers, but they have similar tractors, also. These tractors will usually have live pto and power steering and are really quite similar to the new tractors.
