Steve,
The grilles were all red until the one with the horizontal bars which was white. The screen behind the horizontal bar grille was red. I'm not sure on what year the change was made. I have been told '56 through '58. My CUB has the horizontal bar grille which is white, but the S/N tag indicates it's a '50 model so I suspect a sheetmetal transplant. Phil
