Normally, the gas model C's didn't come with temp. gauges.
The sender goes in the lower metal neck bolted on the engine where the radiator hose connects.
You either need to get one with a hole already drilled and tapped or drill and tap it yourself.
If you look at it, kinda on the bottom if I remember correct, is a flat place where the hole is suppose to go for the sender.
