Guys, it's like Leland said. Running anything but a 1 wire alternater in this day and age is like running 10.00x20 tube type tires on your grain truck. Sure they'll get you there, but if they go down you have to have a mechanic, an engineer, two laborers, seven Mexican couriers and a great big wallet to get going again. Go with a one wire alternater, back to the battery, everything else off the hot post to the switches if you have any, and forget it. Works great, Harley
